Soccer, Fall 2011

The boys played soccer again this fall.  The league is sponsored by the local army base with volunteer coaches.  Each team gets to choose its own team name.  Oscar's team was "The Dragons" and Calvin's team was "The Little Green Monsters".  Calvin's coach was somebody we know from church.

Oscar's class at school has a stuffed animal named "Timo".  The children take turns bringing Timo home for a weekend.  Each child is supposed to write a few sentences in a notebook to describe what they did with Timo.  Oscar brought Timo to his soccer game and then wrote a short note in Timo's adventure book.

Calvin is still learning how to play on a team.  He is easily distracted...
